# EchoBat vs Idle Rune Foundry

The clearest difference is update cadence: Idle Rune Foundry at every 2 weeks against EchoBat's every 25 months. EchoBat's advantage is device support and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EchoBat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Idle Rune Foundry sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EchoBat ships an update every 25 months, Idle Rune Foundry every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
