# Rockd vs The RockED App

The clearest difference is update cadence: The RockED App at every 9 days against Rockd's every 3 months. The RockED App also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (6.8K vs 187). Rockd's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 49%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The RockED App holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The RockED App has 6.8K ratings behind it against 187, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Rockd's written reviews are positive against 49% of The RockED App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rockd ships an update every 3 months, The RockED App every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
