# GoCamPro vs Live DV

The clearest difference is update cadence: Live DV at every 6 weeks against GoCamPro's every 5 months. Live DV also leads on ratings volume (139 vs 21) and review sentiment (15% vs 6%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.1 for GoCamPro against 2.0 for Live DV. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live DV has 139 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 6% of GoCamPro's written reviews are positive against 15% of Live DV's.

GoCamPro ships an update every 5 months, Live DV every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
