# 流利说·雅思 vs SpeakG

The clearest difference is rating: SpeakG at 4.9 against 流利说·雅思's 3.1. SpeakG also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (53 vs 9). 流利说·雅思's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 80%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 流利说·雅思 sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and SpeakG sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SpeakG holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SpeakG has 53 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of 流利说·雅思's written reviews are positive against 80% of SpeakG's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

流利说·雅思 ships an update every 3 months, SpeakG weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
