# Protección Senior vs YPF App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: YPF App at 49% against Protección Senior's 10%. YPF App also leads on ratings volume (3.6K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). Protección Senior's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Protección Senior holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YPF App has 3.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Protección Senior's written reviews are positive against 49% of YPF App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Protección Senior ships an update every 3 months, YPF App fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
