# Timeful vs Current

The clearest difference is rating: Current at 5.0 against Timeful's 3.9. Current also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 75%). Timeful's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 2) and price ($0.99 vs $2.99). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Timeful costs $0.99 and Current $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Current holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timeful has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Timeful's written reviews are positive against 100% of Current's.

Timeful ships an update every 5 months, Current every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
