# GIG Mobility vs Aero

The clearest difference is ratings volume: GIG Mobility at 1.3K against Aero's 14. GIG Mobility also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). Aero's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 60%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for GIG Mobility against 4.5 for Aero. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GIG Mobility has 1.3K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of GIG Mobility's written reviews are positive against 83% of Aero's.

GIG Mobility ships an update every 3 weeks, Aero every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
