# YouGov vs TrueSaver

YouGov and TrueSaver both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of TrueSaver's written reviews are positive against 42% of YouGov's. TrueSaver also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). YouGov's advantage is ratings volume (6.4K vs 9). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YouGov holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YouGov has 6.4K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of YouGov's written reviews are positive against 100% of TrueSaver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YouGov ships an update fortnightly, TrueSaver every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
