# YouGov vs iPraises

The clearest difference is rating: YouGov at 4.6 against iPraises's 4.0. YouGov also leads on ratings volume (5.8K vs 6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). iPraises's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (71% vs 41%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YouGov holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YouGov has 5.8K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of YouGov's written reviews are positive against 71% of iPraises's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YouGov ships an update fortnightly, iPraises every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
