# Xessages vs Pass Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pass Notes at fortnightly against Xessages's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Xessages sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Pass Notes sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Xessages ships an update every 2 months, Pass Notes fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
