# Markate vs Field Rocket

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Markate at 54% against Field Rocket's 0%. Markate also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (165 vs 4). Field Rocket's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Field Rocket sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per month. Markate asks for nothing beyond the download.

Field Rocket holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Markate has 165 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Markate's written reviews are positive against 0% of Field Rocket's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Markate ships an update every 4 weeks, Field Rocket fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
