# WeMacro vs SynScan Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WeMacro at 75% against SynScan Pro's 22%. WeMacro also leads on rating (3.3 vs 2.6) and monetization model (free vs paid). SynScan Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (51 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WeMacro holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.6.
