# Zig vs SSNet TV

The clearest difference is rating: SSNet TV at 5.0 against Zig's 4.6. SSNet TV also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Zig's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 35 months) and ratings volume (55 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SSNet TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zig has 55 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Zig ships an update every 6 days, SSNet TV every 35 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
