# Zig vs Cheers App

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cheers App at every 2 days against Zig's every 6 days. Cheers App also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cheers App holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 55 and 22 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Zig's written reviews are positive against 13% of Cheers App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zig ships an update every 6 days, Cheers App every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
