# Corkulous vs Walling

The clearest difference is monetization model: Walling at free with in-app purchases against Corkulous's subscription. Walling also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). Corkulous's advantage is ratings volume (986 vs 325). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Corkulous sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Walling sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $59.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Walling holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 986 and 325 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of Corkulous's written reviews are positive against 63% of Walling's.

Corkulous ships an update every 3 months, Walling every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
