# DP 311 vs BN

The clearest difference is rating: BN at 4.7 against DP 311's 2.6. BN also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 5) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BN holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BN has 1.9K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of DP 311's written reviews are positive against 19% of BN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DP 311 ships an update every 6 months, BN every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
