# fade! vs Witch & Magic

The clearest difference is ads: fade! at none against Witch & Magic's shown. fade! also leads on review sentiment (81% vs 50%) and iOS requirement (8.1 vs 12.0). Witch & Magic's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. fade! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Witch & Magic sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Witch & Magic holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 107 and 50 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of fade!'s written reviews are positive against 50% of Witch & Magic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
