# JINBEI vs Capture One

The clearest difference is rating: Capture One at 3.5 against JINBEI's 1.0. Capture One also leads on ratings volume (329 vs 1). JINBEI's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (12 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Capture One sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. JINBEI asks for nothing beyond the download.

Capture One holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Capture One has 329 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of JINBEI's written reviews are positive against 18% of Capture One's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

JINBEI ships an update every 11 days, Capture One fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
