# Birthday Planner Pro vs BigPlan

The clearest difference is rating: BigPlan at 5.0 against Birthday Planner Pro's 4.5. BigPlan also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 11 months). Birthday Planner Pro's advantage is ratings volume (54 vs 5) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Birthday Planner Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 6 months and BigPlan sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BigPlan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Birthday Planner Pro has 54 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 93% of Birthday Planner Pro's written reviews are positive against 100% of BigPlan's.

Birthday Planner Pro ships an update every 11 months, BigPlan every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
