# HomeSafe View vs CamHipro

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: HomeSafe View at none against CamHipro's 21. HomeSafe View also leads on rating (2.6 vs 2.4) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). CamHipro's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and review sentiment (23% vs 11%). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CamHipro sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. HomeSafe View asks for nothing beyond the download.

HomeSafe View holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.1K and 396 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of HomeSafe View's written reviews are positive against 23% of CamHipro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HomeSafe View ships an update every 6 months, CamHipro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
