# HomeSafe View vs HOMEVIZ

The clearest difference is rating: HomeSafe View at 2.6 against HOMEVIZ's 1.7. HomeSafe View also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 31). HOMEVIZ's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HomeSafe View holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HomeSafe View has 1.1K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of HomeSafe View's written reviews are positive against 19% of HOMEVIZ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HomeSafe View ships an update every 6 months, HOMEVIZ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
