# HomeSafe View vs YourBeacon

The clearest difference is rating: YourBeacon at 4.3 against HomeSafe View's 2.6. HomeSafe View's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 31) and review sentiment (11% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YourBeacon holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HomeSafe View has 1.1K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of HomeSafe View's written reviews are positive against 0% of YourBeacon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HomeSafe View ships an update every 6 months, YourBeacon every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
