# HomeSafe View vs EEA

The clearest difference is rating: EEA at 5.0 against HomeSafe View's 2.6. EEA also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 months). HomeSafe View's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EEA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HomeSafe View has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HomeSafe View ships an update every 6 months, EEA every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
