# easy2coach vs Train Effective

The clearest difference is rating: Train Effective at 4.8 against easy2coach's 3.7. Train Effective also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 11). easy2coach's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (92% vs 70%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. easy2coach sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Train Effective sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Train Effective holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Train Effective has 13K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of easy2coach's written reviews are positive against 70% of Train Effective's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

easy2coach ships an update every 4 days, Train Effective every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
