# NCHC.tv vs Cricket Tap

The clearest difference is rating: Cricket Tap at 5.0 against NCHC.tv's 1.7. Cricket Tap also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly). NCHC.tv's advantage is ratings volume (104 vs 2) and chart position (#186 vs unranked). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NCHC.tv sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $34.99 per month and Cricket Tap sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cricket Tap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NCHC.tv has 104 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NCHC.tv ships an update monthly, Cricket Tap every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
