# Mural vs Vurvey Labs

The clearest difference is rating: Vurvey Labs at 3.7 against Mural's 2.3. Vurvey Labs also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). Mural's advantage is review sentiment (16% vs 0%) and ratings volume (73 vs 6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vurvey Labs holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mural has 73 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Mural's written reviews are positive against 0% of Vurvey Labs's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mural ships an update every 5 weeks, Vurvey Labs every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
