# Mural vs Ripple

The clearest difference is rating: Ripple at 5.0 against Mural's 2.4. Ripple also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). Mural's advantage is ratings volume (68 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ripple holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mural has 68 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
