# HotS Helper vs CODMunity

The clearest difference is rating: CODMunity at 4.9 against HotS Helper's 4.3. CODMunity also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (36K vs 10). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HotS Helper sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and CODMunity sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CODMunity holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CODMunity has 36K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of HotS Helper's written reviews are positive against 87% of CODMunity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HotS Helper ships an update every 4 months, CODMunity every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
