# Verkada Command vs PRO8

The clearest difference is rating: PRO8 at 5.0 against Verkada Command's 4.2. PRO8 also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.6). Verkada Command's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (237 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
