# Hello AI vs Notes for Apple Watch

The clearest difference is monetization model: Notes for Apple Watch at free with in-app purchases against Hello AI's subscription. Notes for Apple Watch also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.6). Hello AI's advantage is ratings volume (54K vs 2.8K) and review sentiment (55% vs 40%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hello AI sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Notes for Apple Watch sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hello AI holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hello AI has 54K ratings behind it against 2.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two.
