# Net Knots vs Army Knots

The clearest difference is price: Army Knots at Free against Net Knots's $3.99. Army Knots also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 10). Net Knots's advantage is chart position (#196 vs unranked) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Army Knots is free to download; Net Knots costs $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Army Knots holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Army Knots has 1.1K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Net Knots's written reviews are positive against 89% of Army Knots's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Net Knots ships an update every 12 months, Army Knots every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
