# yeeyi vs Flatmates

The clearest difference is review sentiment: yeeyi at 73% against Flatmates's 16%. yeeyi also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Flatmates's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flatmates sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. yeeyi asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flatmates holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flatmates has 57 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of yeeyi's written reviews are positive against 16% of Flatmates's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

yeeyi ships an update every 5 weeks, Flatmates every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 12, 2026.
