# Heja vs Apex Gymnastics

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Apex Gymnastics at none against Heja's 10. Apex Gymnastics also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 84%). Heja's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (24K vs 2). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Heja sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Apex Gymnastics asks for nothing beyond the download.

Heja holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Heja has 24K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Heja's written reviews are positive against 100% of Apex Gymnastics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Heja ships an update weekly, Apex Gymnastics every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
