The clearest difference is update cadence: Black Lite at every 3 weeks against Focus & Mindfulness's every 7 months. Black Lite also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 38%) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). Focus & Mindfulness's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 17.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Black Lite sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year and Focus & Mindfulness sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
