# Tigrinya Dictionary vs Eritrean AI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tigrinya Dictionary at 100% against Eritrean AI's 50%. Tigrinya Dictionary also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (324 vs 6). Eritrean AI's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eritrean AI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Tigrinya Dictionary asks for nothing beyond the download.

Eritrean AI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tigrinya Dictionary has 324 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Tigrinya Dictionary's written reviews are positive against 50% of Eritrean AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tigrinya Dictionary ships an update every 2 months, Eritrean AI fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
