# EZ Notepad vs CloudPaste

The clearest difference is ads: CloudPaste at none against EZ Notepad's shown. CloudPaste also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EZ Notepad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CloudPaste sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EZ Notepad ships an update every 5 months, CloudPaste fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
