# EZ Notepad vs Bible

The clearest difference is ads: Bible at none against EZ Notepad's shown. Bible also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EZ Notepad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bible sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EZ Notepad ships an update every 5 months, Bible every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
