# Notejoy vs Slite

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Slite at none against Notejoy's 1. Notejoy's advantage is review sentiment (47% vs 33%) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.6). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notejoy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $47.99 per year. Slite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Slite holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 29 and 34 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Notejoy's written reviews are positive against 33% of Slite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notejoy ships an update every 10 days, Slite every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on July 21, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
