# D&D Energy Group vs Amcom Tools

D&D Energy Group and Amcom Tools both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of D&D Energy Group's written reviews are positive against 0% of Amcom Tools's. D&D Energy Group also leads on ratings volume (90 vs 5). Amcom Tools's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Amcom Tools holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: D&D Energy Group has 90 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of D&D Energy Group's written reviews are positive against 0% of Amcom Tools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

D&D Energy Group ships an update every 5 months, Amcom Tools every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
