# Fiery Feeds vs Nextnews

The clearest difference is monetization model: Nextnews at free with in-app purchases against Fiery Feeds's subscription. Fiery Feeds's advantage is ratings volume (468 vs 47). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fiery Feeds sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Nextnews sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Fiery Feeds against 4.4 for Nextnews. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fiery Feeds has 468 ratings behind it against 47, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Fiery Feeds's written reviews are positive against 70% of Nextnews's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
