# Dayless vs TV Remote Controller

The clearest difference is rating: TV Remote Controller at 4.7 against Dayless's 4.1. TV Remote Controller also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 44) and price ($0.99 vs $1.99). Dayless's advantage is review sentiment (81% vs 57%). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Dayless costs $1.99 and TV Remote Controller $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TV Remote Controller holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TV Remote Controller has 2K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Dayless's written reviews are positive against 57% of TV Remote Controller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dayless ships an update every 2 months, TV Remote Controller every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
