# Pineapple Pen vs T

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: T at none against Pineapple Pen's 3. T also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 12.4). Pineapple Pen's advantage is ratings volume (6K vs 26) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pineapple Pen sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. T asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pineapple Pen holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pineapple Pen has 6K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 71% and 72% positive.

Pineapple Pen ships an update fortnightly, T every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
