# LongLatMap vs Aloha VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LongLatMap at 100% against Aloha VPN's 55%. LongLatMap also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). Aloha VPN's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 2.5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aloha VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. LongLatMap asks for nothing beyond the download.

Aloha VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aloha VPN has 349 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of LongLatMap's written reviews are positive against 55% of Aloha VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LongLatMap ships an update every 2 months, Aloha VPN every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
