# LongLatMap vs FE

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LongLatMap at 100% against FE's 50%. FE's advantage is rating (3.3 vs 2.5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FE holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of LongLatMap's written reviews are positive against 50% of FE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LongLatMap ships an update every 2 months, FE every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
