# ECNL vs 360Player

ECNL and 360Player both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 45% of 360Player's written reviews are positive against 10% of ECNL's. 360Player also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 weeks). ECNL's advantage is ratings volume (5.8K vs 285). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ECNL sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. 360Player asks for nothing beyond the download.

ECNL holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ECNL has 5.8K ratings behind it against 285, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of ECNL's written reviews are positive against 45% of 360Player's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ECNL ships an update every 4 weeks, 360Player every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
