# ECNL vs THE SQWAD

ECNL and THE SQWAD both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 63% of THE SQWAD's written reviews are positive against 10% of ECNL's. THE SQWAD also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). ECNL's advantage is ratings volume (5.8K vs 349). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ECNL sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and THE SQWAD sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $7.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for ECNL against 4.5 for THE SQWAD. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ECNL has 5.8K ratings behind it against 349, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 10% of ECNL's written reviews are positive against 63% of THE SQWAD's.

ECNL ships an update every 4 weeks, THE SQWAD every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
