# 100% vs Smoosh Lab

The clearest difference is ads: 100% at none against Smoosh Lab's shown. 100% also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (80% vs 60%). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 100% sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Smoosh Lab sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smoosh Lab holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 39 and 34 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of 100%'s written reviews are positive against 60% of Smoosh Lab's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

100% ships an update every 5 days, Smoosh Lab every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
