# Excel App vs HM Clinic

The clearest difference is rating: HM Clinic at 5.0 against Excel App's 2.1. HM Clinic also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Excel App's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HM Clinic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Excel App has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Excel App ships an update every 3 weeks, HM Clinic every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
