# 简讯 vs 倍速阅读

The clearest difference is ads: 倍速阅读 at none against 简讯's shown. 倍速阅读 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). 简讯's advantage is ratings volume (48 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 简讯 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and 倍速阅读 sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

倍速阅读 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 简讯 has 48 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

简讯 ships an update every 2 weeks, 倍速阅读 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
