# Pivlite vs Gifive

The clearest difference is price: Gifive at Free against Pivlite's $3.99. Gifive also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (3.6 vs 3.3). Pivlite's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (68% vs 58%). On ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Gifive is free to download; Pivlite costs $3.99 up front. Pivlite sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Gifive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gifive holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 25 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Pivlite's written reviews are positive against 58% of Gifive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pivlite ships an update weekly, Gifive every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
